Broom Hill

30 Aug 2014 - 09:45

Blues at Broom Hill is a one day pop-up 400 capacity blues festival in an open-sided marquee in a field on the Warks/Oxon border midway between Stratford upon Avon, Banbury and The Cotswolds. 2013 was our first event and featured 24 Pesos, LR Phoenix, Earl Jackson, Oliver Darling and more and was a cracking success. For 2014 we are planning to go all Mardi Gras as we add a New Orleans/Cajun/Zydeco flavour to the whole event with music, food and drink all reflecting this year’s theme.

2014 Line up features; Rosco Levee & the Southern Slide, Chris Hall’s Louisiana Swamp Band – featuring members of R Cajun and The Cajun Roosters, Stomp & Holler, The Swamp Band, Aaron Keylock and Hot Wired – check out the line up page for more information.

For 364 days of the year the field on Broom Hill is a rural idyll. But for Saturday 30th August with beautiful location, great music, fabulous local food and drink plus Saturday night camping, its going to be a one day small music festival wonder!

With a limited capacity of 400 we’re expecting a sell out so get your tickets (only £13 for adults, £3 for U12′s and U5′s free). Bring your own chair but please leave your food and drink at home and drink ours, it’ll be lovely, fresh delicious and helps us pay for the festival!

Blues at Broom Hill is a Porterhouse Blues/Jigsaw Community Festivals event.
