Shipston GP Dr Debbie Morgan reckoned she ran a marathon and a bit after clocking a time of five hours 34 minutes in Sunday’s race.
Debbie, who works at Shipston Medical Centre, said her GPS tracking system showed she had run 27 miles by the time she crossed the finishing line.
“It was my first ever marathon and when I crossed the finishing line I said never again. But it’s a bit like childbirth, you soon forget,” said Debbie, who raised £3,700 for Shipston Home Nursing.
“I’ve had a lot of support from patients,” she added.
